I love the beautiful practice of movement and its younger, cooler sibling — calisthenics. But in today’s world of likes, shares, and highlight reels, the practice can often feel intimidating.
So I created Couch To Calisthenics — a series of short workshops, courses, and guides designed to take you from the basics, and build you up step by step with confidence.
I also wanted these resources to be accessible to people who are looking to get into calisthenics, so all online guides are available on a pay-what-you-like basis. Donations are never expected, but they help support the creation of future courses, workshops, and movement experiences. Sharing, or tagging us in your journey is a little way to say thankyou which makes a big difference to us.
The guides focus on fundamental movement principles and clear progressions, but unlike live sessions they cannot provide the same level of individual adaptation or coaching. In-person movement experiences allow movements to be adjusted to the individual — whether that means elevated hand positions, reduced ranges of motion, or completely different entry points.
All in-person experiences require a minimum of two people and can accommodate up to eight participants depending on space. Sessions can take place at your home, workplace, hired studio, open space or other suitable spaces (some experiences require more space than others). Get In Touch to make an enquiry or to find out more.
You’ll find all current and upcoming workshops and courses below.

FROGGIN AROUND
So you want to get into calisthenics or hand balancing… but you’re not quite ready to throw yourself upside down. Cool. That’s why we start with the frog pose — the gateway movement to all things balanced on the hands.
Available to book as a 90 minute workshop, or access our online practice guide and master the pose in your own time.
CORE CLUB
Core Club is 9 levels of our favourite core movements. Starting off with level 1-3 that build on the fundamental core movements without any equipment.
Levels 5-6 build on those fundamentals requiring small set of weights and our final 3 levels bars and resistance bands.

DragonFlag
The Bruce lee inspired movement that will test more than just your core. Relying heavily on creating total body tension, from your grip to your toes the dragon flag is a must have in your calisthenics locker.
This course is provided over 3 sessions, basics, eccentrics and mastery.
